Christmas!!!

Santa came, waiting for Christmas morning to come.

Caylee wasn't feeling good and so it took some time for her to get into anything.

We had a great Christmas (other then Caylee being sick and not happy for most of it) and all got great gifts. We got up and did Santa, then got ready for church, had a wonderful meeting (I had to sing with the ym, for only five of us I think we did a good job singing "What Child Is This"). Gabe got to sit with us for some of it also, a gift from Bishop, and it was wonderful because Caylee had a fever through church and so he was able to help when I had to sing but thankfully Caylee slept most of the time. After we got home we changed back into our pj's and webcamed with Gabe's parents, the girls opened their gifts from them at that time. After that we finally opened presents around 1pm and it took like 2 hours to get it all done. But it was fun to watch the girls and their faces as they saw what it was. Then I we got dinner down, I didn't do everything I like to for dinner but with little time and sick people in the house I just did it really easy this year. That night we webcamed with my parents. All and all it was a great Christmas and we all got what we wanted and more.

5th Anniversary

I can't believe this was 5 years ago.

Our Anniversary was on the 22nd. We didn't really do a lot this year because it was a week day and we had a sick kid (Caylee had croup and for a week had to sleep in our room). We did go out to dinner as a family, it was nice to go out. For a gift to each other we got a picture of Christ for in the living room, we love it and it looks so nice. It's been a great 5 years and I am so thankful to spend it with a great guy:)

Caylee turned ONE the day before Thanksgiving and so I didn't want to do anything really big, plus the fact that she won't remember any of it. We had cup cakes and ice cream with our "loopies" neighbors. She did great with her cake, nothing like Adeleah would wouldn't even eat any of hers and just cried the whole time. Anyway, Caylee is doing great and we are so blessed to have her in our family, she is just a doll. At her check up she was still at the 3% for her weight but she went up by about 30% in height in two months. We just have to keep working on getting her to eat more. But she is a healthy and very active baby. Other then that she is doing great and loves playing with her sister and getting into just about everything she can, she makes life fun though:) We love you Caylee!

Not a lot has happen in the last month and a half and so not much to talk about. Caylee is doing great and getting into everything. She had a check up and he said she looks great. The only thing is she is at like 3% for her weight. But he's not too worried about it. We are trying to get more meat on her bones though. She now has 10 teeth and working on 11 and 12. She is a very happy little girl and so much fun. She loves her sister and they love playing together. I can't believe she will be ONE in just 3 weeks. This last year has gone by way too fast but it has been a good one.

A little about Adeleah: she is doing great and growing all the time. She is learning how to use the potty and that is going great. She does great at home during the day and is just now starting to go out of the house. But she still has to have a diaper when out and about, naps and at night. Other then that she is a great little girl going on 3 and boy does she act like it. But we still love her, some days we like her more then others:)

Dinamond Head

In october we went and hiked up diamond head. It was a lot of fun and a great view. Not a hard hike at all but it did take a little more time for us with the girls. Something you should do if you ever come over to Hawaii.

Caylee 9 months

Caylee turned 9 months while we were in Oregon. She did so good on her first trip and was made to get over her mommy thing some. But the big thing she did was take her first steps! Her first one was when we were visiting with Gabes grandma and so she got to see it too. She had been walking holding on to things but had not took one without holding something. The day this video was taken we left for fair and so she couldn't get put down a lot, so she had to wait to walk a few more weeks but after we got home it only took about two and a half weeks for her to be walking all the time. Caylee was about 2 1/2 weeks sooner the Adeleah. While in Oregon she also cut two more teeth (making it 8 at the time). I guess she had a lot of big things happen actually. She got to met a lot of family, ride her first horse (bob one of the drafts), fly on a plane, see all kinds of animals, and a lot of other things. I just love her so much and am so thankful to have her in our family!

Back in Aug we went to Oregon to see family and finally have a vacation. We took a flight with the air force into Washington. It was a free flight and a very different kind of one then what you may think. We were on one of the BIG transport aircraft, and so we sat next to cargo the whole time and in jumper seats. But it really wasn't that bad and the part the made it the best was it was FREE and the girls were good for the whole thing. We then went down to Gabes parents about 4 hours away. The next day Gabe went up to Portland and watched his brother Seth graduate from college! After that we had a Ruhnow Family Reunion at Sliver Falls just outside of Salem in a big cabin/ranch. It was great to get to have all us together and all the kids. While we were at the reunion Gabe had his 30th birthday, he thinks is old now, which hes not:) Then we had a week to just visit with Gabes side of the family. One day we went over to the coast and played around on the 4wheelers, it was so cold. Another day we went to a reunion on my moms side of the family and also went and got to see Gabes grandma, he hadn't seen her in a few years. After a week and a half with Gabes side we went to the Oregon state fair and got to be with my family showing our draft horses. Gabe had to come home early because he had to take a test for work. The girls and I stayed and helped my parents and had a lot of fun with a lot of work. Then the girls and I came home, boy was that a long flight.

Adeleah...

About a week ago we put Adeleah to bed and were still down watching tv. We knew she had been out of bed and had gotten after her but we hadn't heard anything out of her and so we thought she went to bed. Well when I went to put Caylee down I all but walked on Adeleah.

Man is two not my favorite age! But at times I love the things she does and it just makes us laugh. Adeleah loves to dance, loves music, reading/being read to and (right now anyway) scooby doo. She has a mind of her own and will let you know it. She seems to like to push us to our limits on just about everything. Thankfully she can still be our sweet little girl giving lots of hugs and kisses. She loves her little sister and they are best friends. And I am still amazed at how much I love her even when she is being crazy and driving me crazy. I love you Adeleah and am so thankful to be your mom everyday!

Caylee 8 Months...

I can't believe my baby is going to be a year in just a few months! How did she get to be 8 months already. She is doing so good and I just can't get over how much I love my girls. Caylee is so great and has the best smile in the world, just like her daddy. Oh and she looks so much like Gabe, well to me she does. Caylee now has 6 teeth, she can walk holding on the things, stand alone, and (not happy about this one) can climb the stairs. If we don't put the gate up she will be up them in no time. She loves to eat and doesn't really want baby food but I still make her eat it. With all the food she eats you would think she would be bigger, she is a nice small little girl. Oh and she is still very much a mommas girl. Shes so bad that she doesn't even want daddy to feed her dinner and will start crying half way through her food and then I have to finish feeding her. But other then that she is a great baby and we are so thankful to have Caylee in our family!

Our New Ride

Someday when the girls are out of car seats I know this is how they are going to want to ride all the time.

So we finally got a 2nd car! Our plan was to just wait until we moved again back mainland but because of Gabes new calling we knew it was needed. We first were looking at a midsize suv but they just don't have a lot of room when all the seats were up and we didn't want to get a big suv. The reason we didn't go with something small like a car was because we didn't want to have to get a different one in a few years when we have another baby and lose money in doing it. So we went with something that will last our family for years to come. Now I have never liked vans but I must say I love my new Sienna! It has lots of room for everything and is so easy to put the girls in and out. It drives really well and is so nice inside. But best of all it works for our family now and for years to come:) Thanks Gabe for getting me to drive a van and thinking outside of suvs. I love you honey, thanks for all your hard work:)

Caylee was so done with pictures.

Our ward had a camp out Friday night before the 4th. The camping was so pretty and it was fun. That night we had dinner and a camp fire and all that. The next day we eat and packed up tints and things and then went fishing in a little lake, they had poles for us to use from the camping office. It was fun I don't like to fish but I had a good time, didn't get a fish. The fish knew how to eat around the hook. Gabe got one, they were all little fish. Adeleah had fun eating the bread that we used for the fish. We finished it off with lunch. It was a good ward camp out. I love this ward!

For the 4th of July we didn't really do much. Most of the day we worked on things that needed done at home. That afternoon we took the girls to see Kung Fu Panda 2, pretty funny. Then we come home and watched to fireworks from on top of the house, then we were bad and let Adeleah play with the few sparklers that we had left from something else. It was a fun 4th of July weekend together as a family.

Caylee is such a wonderful baby and I still can't believe she is getting so close to being one already, where is the time going? She is still a little baby and so it is hard to think she is 7 months but if you see her move around you would think she is older. Caylee is still a mommas girl but I think it is getting better, she will go to people now without crying right away. She cut her two top teeth right at 7 months and she likes to use those 4 teeth. Sometimes I feel like we have a little puppy with all the biting, and don't let her get paper of any kind she will eat it faster then you can get to it. She started saying dada just in time for Fathers Day, which was a nice gift for daddy. And oh the smiles she gives, I love her smile and she loves to give them (well to daddy, mommy, and sissy), anyone else has to work a little for them. She loves bath time and likes to take them with her sister because they love to splash together. I am so thankful for my two wonderful girls and love them so much, but man are they growing up too fast.

Gabe's sister Courtney and her family come for a week visit. It was so nice having them out and we had a lot of fun with them and I know they had a ton of fun.
One night we had a babysitter and the four of us went on a dinner cruise.

Played on the beach, always a good time. They stayed at one of the military beach cottages all but two nights. It was so nice because the beach was right outside the door.

Fathers Day!!!

These are the only pictures I have from fathers day, sorry I know but I think my head was somewhere else that day.

For Fathers Day this year I wanted to do something really nice for Gabe. He has lots of things he wants to learn or do here in hawaii and I wanted one of them to actually happen but I didn't know what he wanted more. So I finally picked one and got it all set up and actually didn't tell him:) (I am really bad with keeping things from him) So Fathers Day morning I got the card all ready and waited for him to get up (I was very excited)/I woke him up. I gave him the card and waited..... big smile! I got him a private surf lesson! He had to wait a few weeks to do it because of things going on and so I had it for July 9th. (this last sat he had it, no I have no pictures from it because the girls and I were at home for nap time. But he had a great time and I already told him we will get him a surf board for his birthday next month.) Well to go on with our day, we went to church and it was just like any other sunday or so we thought. I was in feeding the baby when Gabe come and got me because someone from the stake pres needed to meet with both of us:/ We both don't know what for and were trying to think what it could be about. We get in to the room and he starts talking to us about family and how important family is and putting them first and so on, this went on for like 10 mins, we still don't know why he needed to talk with us yet. Believe me when I say, I was about to go crazy! Finally he gets to the point of all this.....Gabe was asked to be 2nd counselor in the bishopric! We both said yes and for the rest of church we couldn't stop thinking of it and just everything that it would mean for us. Well anyway, the rest of Fathers Day went good, we called and talked to our families and told them about it, had a nice dinner and day together as a family.

And to my wonderful husband:

I love you so very much and are so thankful to have you in my life. You are a wonderful dad and a great husband. Thank you for all the hard work you do for us and for being who you are. And you are doing great in the bishopric:) I love you Gabe!!!

Something funny about when Gabe was set apart, the stake president was talking about Gabe (he wasn't the one that called him, it was one of the counselors) and how he didn't really know him but lookforward to it and all that. Well then he was talking about what the counselor told him about meeting with us. He said, "You should have seen his face!" Talking about Gabes face when he was actually asked. It was so funny and you really had to be there.

Swimming

Sat we went swimming, it was so nice to be able to swim. I know we live in Hawaii, you would think we swim all the time but we really don't get to as much as we would like with work and kids and everyday things that we have to do. I think Caylee had more fun then Adeleah. We finally put Adeleah in Caylees thing because she was making it hard to do anything but hold her. And we had to take Caylee out because she wouldn't stop trying to drink the water. It would have be a great time if it didn't keep raining on us off and on and the wind was a little much. But all and all it was a good time. And we need to bring Adeleah boat so that both girls are in something.

Waimea Falls

Gabe had Friday off and so we went up to Waimea Falls. Its about 3/4 of a mile up to it and they have flowers and plants along the way. It was really a nice day and always good to get out of the house and do something as a family. Plus Gabe and I both got a little work out pushing the girls. Gabe pushed up and I pushed back and it is not flat.

Family Night

For family night a few weeks ago we went to one of the park around our house. Adeleah loves it and would spend all day or night there. This was the first time for Caylee to do anything at a park. Even though it was dark we had a good time. I love when we just get out as a family like this and have no other families or kids around and it can just be us.

I can't believe that Caylee is 6 months old, it is going way too fast. But she is doing great and is just wonderful.

At her 6 month check up:

Around the first week of May she started to crawl, she still doesn't actually crawl on all four, more of an army crawl. But she can get where she wants and that makes her happy. Most of the time she goes to things she shouldn't or to me when I am in a different room she'll come crying after me. She can sit by herself for a few mins before she falls over. She is a eater, loves food and at dinner will eat a whole bowl full. The only food that she really doesn't like is bananas (crazy I know), I have to make her eat them and that doesn't always work. And she would take veggies over fruit I think most of the time. She loves the puff which is nice for keeping her happy when I need my hands. Caylee is still a big mommas girl. We are trying to work on that but it is going very slow. All and all she is a good baby and is very happy when she gets her way. We love her so much and are thankful to have Caylee in our family.

Like all little kids Adeleah "talks" on the phone all the time. She has one of our old cell phones. Gabe can not just sit and talk on the phone he is always walking around when he is on the phone, it drives me crazy sometimes. Well the other day Gabe was talking to one of his sisters and Adeleah went and got on her phone and was walking around like dad talking on the phone. I was so funny I had to take a picture.

Heidi is one of Gabes older sisters, we don't get to see her very much and I have yet to met her kids. She come out to Hawaii with a group she sings with and did a show at BYU-H. It was really good and it was so great to get to see her.

The last day and half she was her she stayed with us. The weather was good most of the time she was here and so we had to get her to a beach.

Hand, Foot, Mouth...

The first week of May Adeleah had a fever and wasn't herself at all. But it only really lasted one night and a day. But that next night she had a really bad sore throat and we thought she needed to be seen the next day, well I had also saw that she had some dots on her right hand and arm. By the next morning she was acting just fun but throat still red and she also had the dots on her face. I made her an appointment for that afternoon. Well I watched a little girl that morning too, thankfully she didn't get anything! By the time we went in she had dots all over her hands, feet, face, and butt. Now I had only heard of this but never seen it so I wasn't thinking this at all and we have no idea where she got it from. But yup she has/had Hand, Foot, and Mouth Diseases. Oh fun just in time for mothers day. They can't really do anything for it, it just has to do its thing. Thankfully it didn't really last long but it wasn't very fun for us because we had to keep her home and away from people. Gabe was very nice and let me go to church and he stayed home with the girls. But Adeleah is all better now thankfully, and the really great part is Caylee didn't get it and I hopefully she still doesn't. The photo is from sat night. I would have more of what she looked like but she would let me get any good ones.

I was really bad and just realized I didn't take any pictures for three weeks and so I don't really have any from the last month. So besides being a bad mom on taking pictures here is Caylee at 5 months.

Caylee is very much a mommas girl, she wants me over anyone else and if I leave the room she starts to cry or if I don't pick her up. So I have done a lot more things with her in my arms or with her crying at me. We have left the girls twice to go to the temple and a date night both times she cried and wouldn't eat. I felt so bad for the people watching her. Thank you again you know who you are:) Anyway, Caylee started rolling over just after the first of April and hasn't stopped. I can't put her done now without her rolling all over, well in her little area that she plays in. She doesn't seem to want to go to far from where I put her. She also has two bottom teeth now. Adeleah and Caylee both cut their bottom ones at around 4 1/2 months. But Caylee is faster on other things like the rolling and she sat all by herself right at 5 months. Oh and she is a talker, she has been talking as she falls asleep, its pretty funny and very cute! She is doing great, shes a great eater, and she loves her sister, thinks Adeleah is the funniest thing, its very cute to watch them together. We love Caylee and are so thankful to have her in our family but she needs to really slow down with the growing thing or shes not going to be my baby way too soon.

So I have been really bad at posting the last few months but I am going to again try and be better.

Gabe's calling at church is Ward Missionary Leader and so last month he got to do a baptism. I don't think he has been able to do that since he mission.

And this is just a really funny picture of Adeleah. She is so funny and we love her so much. Adeleah has learned somewhat how to put clothes on and when she found Caylees overalls this is what happened. She may drive me crazy a lot of the time but I sure do love my little girl and wouldn't know what to do without her:)

My Great Grandparents got all the oldest of the kids theses overalls because great grandpa always wear them. Well when my mom come out after Adeleah was born she got some for all the grand kids at the time. Its a family thing. So I had to take pictures of the girls the first time they each wear them and with their cow and horse they got from gramma when born.

We are trying to potty train and that has been a lot of not fun times for me and some for daddy. She is finally starting to get some of it down but #2 is a hit and miss. But I am not going into that because who really wants to hear about it, really?

She is really letting us know she is a 2 year old now. Sometimes she just makes me want to pull my hair out. I love her so much and don't ever want to live without her but sometimes I wish we could just skip over this next year and a half. But then I would miss theses great times and I don't ever want to have that happen. We love you so much Adeleah!

I started feeding her and she loves it. Caylee was/is always trying to get our food and so I knew it was time for her to eat. She is getting better at it by the day. Caylee is a very happy baby, very much a mommy's girl but will go to just about anyone too. She is teething and all the fun things that come with it. She loves her big sister and sometimes Adeleah loves her back a little to much. Caylee is a great joy to us and we all love her very much.

Two years ago today this wonderful time baby come into my life and I am so thankful and blessed that she did.

I still can't believe that Adeleah is two years old, although she does act like it a lot:)

She lives just a few houses down and they are great friends, it is going to be a lot of fun and I can't wait. So there will be more on Adeleah turning 2 after that and she has her check up on Monday so I will post for that too.

Caylee 3 months

I can't believe Caylee is 3 months already, the time goes by so fast. She is a great joy and lots of smiles. She sleeps pretty good goes down around 10 and doesn't wake up till 4:30 or later to eat and then goes back to bed till 7 or 8. It is so nice because Adeleah didn't do that till around a year old. She loves to watch her sister playing. Caylee is becoming a talker and will talk with you for as long you will talk with her. And she hates the car seat unless she is sleeping, so thats always a fun time going some where. But she is a great baby and we are so happy to have her in our family.

We went to the zoo a week or so ago and had a great time. Adeleah loved it and Caylee only wanted us to hold her the whole time. But it was fun and a nice day out as a family.

Caylee 2 Months

She is a really happy baby, as long as you do what she wants.

Adeleah loves her little sister and Caylee loves her big sister.

Caylee turned 2 months on the 23rd of Jan and she had her check-up this last Friday. She is 10lbs 10.4 ozs and 22.91". She is doing great and looking great. The only thing that she could be better on is going to bed easier, it takes an hour or more to get her down and she doesn't like to go down till around 11pm. But she does sleep for about 5-6 hours at a time witch is great. Oh and she doesn't like to be put down unless she is asleep, which means I am holding her like all the time. But she really is wonderful and we are so happy to have her in our family.

On a side note Adeleah now thinks that she can't go to sleep without one of us with her. It is making for some long nights getting the girls to bed. But we still love them both very much and are very blessed to have them.

Gabe did a great job and it was very sweet. We are so thankful to have Caylee and love her so very much. We don't know what we would do without her already. Caylee was great during her blessing, not even a little cry.

We didn't get to show her everything that we would have like because it rained most of the time. But my dad and mom should both be coming back before we move in a few years.

Sorry this is about 3 weeks late but I have had my hands a little full:)

We are all doing great and are all in love with Caylee. Adeleah loves her sister (sometimes a little too much and hard).

Here's the story, more for me to remember, read if you want.

I had my last appt on the 15th of Nov and I was almost a 2 and 50%. That night I had so good contractions going on and was still having them when I finally went to bed at 1am but by morning they were gone. That week I had some more and then sat I had more and that night we really tried getting it going by going on a hike but they didn't keep up. Had some Sunday morning, no church because of the temple, then they started back up that night when we were eating dinner. They were 10 mins apart until around midnight and went to 5. I finally had to wake Gabe up at 1am. Well we got to L&D around 3 and I was almost a 3 and 80% but because I wasn't a 4 yet they told me to go home and walk for two hours and they couldn't give me anything for the pain because I was a vbac. But I was told that when we come back they would get things going if it wasn't more on its own. Went home walked and rested a little, since no sleep, dropped Adeleah off at a friends and went back. Well different people then before and they didn't know what was going on and it was a full moon. Well they was like a million women having babies that day and so no bed open. So this oh so nice person gives me something for the pain and tells me to go home and see if I can sleep and if it is real labor or not. We go home I am so done at this point and just want to sleep and really just have it all over! I try to sleep nothing really maybe 30 mins and pain meds do nothing also. I tell Gabe I am just ready for a c-section at this point and very done. (I really don't think that people in L&D believe you a lot of the time.) Well Gabe calls L&D, talks to the one that sent us home and she says to come back in and that I will get admitted. Well we get there and are put in one of the rooms were you get checked first. We end up being in there for about 7 hours because there are no rooms (remember it was a full moon), I had no meds and I think at times they forgot about us. And all this time we were just waiting for a room to open up, they even had all the things for me already ordered and waiting. Finally around 7pm Monday night I get in my room and they get me some meds while we wait for the anesthesiologist to do my epidural. Get it in (didn't work right but I was told it was fine, I know how they should feel from Adeleah), they checked me about an hour after that and I was a 5 and 100%, the Dr broke my water. An hour or so after that he checked me again and was a 6 and caylee was at 0. Then a few hours later, I think sometime around 1:30am Tuesday, checked 91/2 and caylee -2. Said he come back in about an hour. So we both tried to get some sleep again. I woke up just after 3 because of the pain (i could always feel her head pushing down and a little pain, plus could move legs and butt the whole time, epidural wasn't put in right). I try and not think about it but finally it was too my and I was trying not to push. I pushed the call button, nothing. Finally I wake Gabe up at 4:15am to go get some one, they come in about 5 mins later. I told them I wanted more meds and that I really really needed to push/couldn't stop my body from making me anyway. Dr has me do one set of pushes and then tells them to give me more meds and leaves. Its just Gabe and I for a few mins and I had to keep pushing. Nurse comes back with anesthesiologist, still pushing. Gabe and nurse get my legs meds in and start to feel it working:) Pushing, can feel her coming out, nurse pushes button for people to get in the room baby is coming. Everyone else gets in about the time I have her head almost out. Everything is moving very fast, Dr gets there in time to grab head and they get the end of bed off and about 1 or 2 pushes she is out at 4:45am ( about only 30 mins after waking Gabe up). It all happened so fast in the end that the nurse had to ask if we had a camera:) By the time Caylee was born Tuesday morning I hadn't eat anything since Sunday dinner and only had about 2 hours of sleep since Sunday morning. It was a long few days for us. I can't say I am happy about everything in L&D but they did have 23 babies born just on that Monday and it was still crazy when I went to the mother/baby unit. But we are all very happy to have Caylee here and she is doing great. We love her very much!

p.s. I didn't read through this because it took me too long to even write it (Adeleah is so helpful, not), so sorry if its not great.

I am actually 35 weeks 3 days today but I have been sick and didn't feel like doing anything. Tomorrow will be one month out from my due date and I can't believe it is almost here. I can't wait to have Caylee here and be able to hold her and well you know all that:) But I do worry how Adeleah is going to be, I know she will love her and want her all the time. But that may be the thing I worry about because shes not going to be able too and the things she does to her baby doll sometimes would made you worry for Caylee. She can and is very sweet to the doll but there are times. Anyway, I am doing pretty good for being this big and far along. Well hope you all have a great Halloween!

P.S. I am sorry you have to see the actual belly but it was the last one I had from Adeleah and wanted the same of Caylee.

This is the quilt I made for Caylee. I think it come out pretty good, plus I made it much bigger then Adeleahs because hers is just too small. Which means I will have to make Adeleah another one so that she has one that she can actually use. I am almost ready for baby to come just a few more things to get and that I can think of two more things to make. But really we are ready and I am very ready for her to come, although I know she really can't come for a few more weeks:)

30 weeks

I can't believe that I am 30 weeks already but very glad that I am. I just hope the next 10 weeks go by fast. So I have really been bad about posting and was wanting to get one done two weeks ago, thats why I put the 28 week pic also. Anyway, I am doing good. Getting bigger all the time and very little sleep at night. I wake up most of the time feeling like I need to go back to bed, which isn't so fun because Adeleah is very much ready to be up and doesn't let me close my eyes at all. Other then that I am doing good and can't wait for her to get here. Oh and seeing how I put her name on facebook, Caylee Anne. I know I said I like it more with a K but I didn't like the meaning of it with a K. We also have talked with the Dr. and are going to go ahead and try a vbac. They said it is really all up to me and how I am feeling. So unless something changes thats the plan for now and thankfully they will not let me go or work so long with caylee before they say c-section.

It was also my 25th birthday yesterday. Gabe made it very nice for me and I was able to just sit around most of the time. He made dinner and a cake, it was very good. Plus the night before he took me out to P.F. Changs for dinner and had a babysitter for Adeleah. It is nice to be able to get out of the house just the two of us and be able to enjoy the food and each other. Thank you very much honey for a great birthday. Love you.

Manoa Falls Trail

Yesterday we went on this really cool trail through the rainforest that takes you up to a 100ft waterfall, about 2 miles round trip. It was really muddy on the trail and a little crazy for a 28 week pregnant person to go on but I think I did really good and really don't feel anything today. The baby seemed to enjoy it. Adeleah on the other hand didn't like being in the carrier very much, but she loved the water at the top and so badly wanted to play in it. We did let her put her feet in and play a little. Then on the way down Gabe just held her so that we didn't have to listen to her. It is a trail we will do again but I would say that it is not great for kids unless they can be in a carrier or big enough to do it themselves. It made for a great day together as a family.

18 Months

I can't believe that Adeleah is 18 months already but we were very much ready for it. She went to her 1st day of nursery Sunday and she did great. She didn't care when daddy left and could care less when I went in to do the roll for primary. We hope it will stay that way:) Besides that she is doing great and finally starting to say some words. She can be a good helper but only when she wants to. She LOVES to watch "Tom and Jerry." If I need to get something done all I have to do is put it on and she will set there until its over. Other then that we are loving parts of this age and not so much other things that come with it.

This is just something we found funny the other night, well Gabe more then me:)

Gabes Birthday

Gabes Cake, not very good looking but it did taste good!

Gabes Birthday was on Monday but we had cake on Sunday with some friends of ours. Monday they watched Adeleah so that Gabe and I could go out to dinner. It was so nice to go out without her. I mean we love having her with us but man was it nice to just be able to talk and things just the two of us. We went to this really nice place called Top of Waikiki. Its a 360 revolving restaurant over looking the city and beach. It takes about an hour to go all the way around and so by the time you eat and everything you make it all the way around. It was really nice to have a night out with Gabe for his birthday. And thanks Nicole for watching Adeleah.

I am 25 weeks here.

On Sat we went to Hanauma Bay for part of Gabes birthday weekend. We actually have been wanting to go for weeks but just had other things to do. Anyway, it is one of the best places to go snorkeling. You can see a ton of really cool fish, that are all very colorful. This was my 2nd time snorkeling, its fun but being so pregnant makes it hard to stay out for very long. We had some friends there with us so Gabe and I were able to go out together, it was really nice to be able to go out with him. Gabe went out again by himself and was able to see a lot more. It was a fun day and we can't wait to go again.

So after not having our things for two months, we are finally in our house with all our things. I wish I could say that everything is ok from the move but thats what we get for moving over the ocean. Anyway, I have not yet taken pictures of the house because I am still putting small things away and putting things up. I hope that in the next week or so to have pictures for you all.

As of other news we are trying to come up with a name for baby girl, not as easy as with Adeleah. The only one that we both like so far is Kaylee. But I like it with a K and Gabe with a C. So I am going to put a poll up and would like you to vote on what one you like more. Or if you have a good name, I would love to hear it.

Other then that we are doing good and really enjoying living in Hawaii. The weather here is great, I have not seen it hotter then 87 and the lows are in the 70's. Plus I have made friends with a women from church that just lives down the street and they have two small kids that Adeleah can play with. Anyway, we are doing great and wish you could all be here with us. And I will hopefully post pictures in "my photos" of the things we have done so far in the next week.

A Girl!!!!

We had our ultrasound yesterday and everything looked great. The baby was moving all over and gave us some really good looks at her. She is about 14ozs right now. They gave us a 99.9% that she is going to be a girl. Gabe and I both thought it was going to be a boy, but yesterday I had a feeling that it was going to be a girl. Gabe was really shocked that its a girl:) It was funny to see his face when they said girl, I wish I had a picture of it. We are very excited to be having another girl and now we just have to come up with a name.

Sorry it has been so long, but we have had life a little crazy with the move and everything. We are in our house now but have none of our house things here yet and so still no computer to use. We are getting to know things better around here and are having fun. Adeleah is doing good with it all and making new friends (we are too just so you all know). I am doing good with the pregnancy and getting bigger everyday. We go in on the 15th/2 days for our ultrasound, can't wait to see what we are having! Gabe is doing good and loving living in HI. Anyway, I will slowly update on the things that we have done since being on the island, it will be sometime and more then likely after I get our computer so that I have the time to do it all. So today the movers are coming to pack all of our house. It is very odd to think that we are moving to Hawaii in a week. I have been excited and still am but as all things do it is starting to hit me that this is all actually happening and everything. I know that it is going to be great and that we are going to do great, I mean come on we are moving to Hawaii and going to be having our 2nd child there. But it is still going to be hard to leave what I know and move somewhere I have never been. The leaving FL part is not, we never have loved it here but it is what I know. Anyway, I know we will do great and I am very excited. Well this is the last little time I have the computer before they come to pack it and I don't know how well I am going to be able to post until we get all our things again (could take 60-75 days for it to get there). So I hope you all have a great start to the summer:)

Big Sister!!!

We are very excited to be having another baby on the way:) I had our 1st appt today and all is doing great. It was moving all over the place and so we didn't get the greatest of picture. I am 12 1/2 weeks today, due Nov 28th.

Other then being pregnant we are just getting ready for our move to Hawaii in 2 weeks. Our house will all get packed by the movers next week and be on its way. We will then get the house all cleaned and then stay on base for the last few days. Then fly out on the 4th to Hawaii for the next 3 years!

Spring

Anyway, Gabe is doing his schooling for the job he will have in Hawaii. Adeleah and I have just been enjoying the weather and getting to have daddy home around 2 everyday. Other then that we are just looking forward to our move in 7 weeks. We can't believe that we are moving to Hawaii in 7 weeks, but we are getting excited more and more for it and look forward to the change in so many ways. The pick one was a birthday gift and I just put the other bow on her for fun.

After the alligator farm we come home and had a little party for Adeleah. A few of our friends and their kids come over. We played with the wii and the kids played with toys and just had fun for a little bit. Then Adeleah opened her gifts. After that we got her ready for cake, sing Happy Birthday to her, and gave her a big piece of cake. Well, Adeleah did fine with the song but the cake that is a different story. She didn't want anything to do with it, she cried until we got her out of her chair and away from the cake and ice cream. She was happy again in just her diaper running around the house. I tried to give her some of the cake after everyone was gone and she had three bites and has not had anymore since. But besides the fact that she hated her cake it was a good 1st birthday. We just can't believe our baby is one.

Oh and the next day she had her check up, she is doing great and hated the whole appointment. She is 28.7in and 18.52lbs, 50%.

For Adeleahs Birthday monday we went down to St. Augustine to the Alligator farm. We have wanted to go and thought that since we are moving soon it was a good time to. The weather was really nice and we have never saw so many alligators and different ones in my life. Adeleah had a lot of fun walking around and looking at everything. But she didn't like the big fake one.

Reenlistment and ........

Gabe reenlisted in the navy for another 5 years. Which to me means a pay check, health, and job for the next 5 years. It also means a lot of other things like worry, time apart, and all the other things that come with being a wife in the navy. But with all that I am happy with this and excited for all the good things that happen, like moving to Hawaii for three years! As for that we are getting excited we have just over a 100 days until the move. Its going to be a lot of fun living there but I don;t look forward to the first few months. It is going to take 60-75 days for our things to get to HI and we have to get on a waiting list for housing when we get there and it could take months to get into a house. But even if we get one before our things come we won't have anything to live with. And so we are going to live in a hotel until we get into a house and if that is before or after our things come we will take it and learn to have fun with a very empty home:) It will all work out and come on we are going to be living in Hawaii. Oh and our move/flight to HI is on June 4th.

(They give a thing to the wife saying thanks for the support during the time your husband is in the navy. It is very nice that they do this and I am just thankful that I can be here with my wonderful husband.)

Adeleah right now is very big into "I'm going to get ya," she loves to have you get her. All you have to do is day that right now and she will turn around and take off. When Gabe gets home from work she won't go to him at all, she just wants him to play. It is so funny:) This is how I got this picture, her running away so I can come after her.

Coming to mama. I love this little girl so much and I don't what I would do without her in my life. I can't believe she will be one in just over a week and I can't believe that a year ago I was big and pregnant with her. She really is a joy in our life, even when she is doing something bad she looks cute and that makes me so mad. I just want to get after her for what she is doing and then she will look at me and smile. Oh and she now knows how to clap, you just have to ask and she knows what you want. She also has 10 teeth, 6 on top and 4 on bottom. The last two have not been fun and she has had a cold to come with them. So life has not been so fun for her the last week or for us. We have to hold her down, to take care of her nose. You would think we are taking one of her toes off with all of the crying. Hopefully she will get well very soon. The only other thing right now that I wish would go away is the always needing mama. She doesn't really even like to go to daddy, I worry how she is going to be next month when we go home to ours parents for 2 weeks. Besides that she is doing great and we love Adeleah very much and look forward to watching her eat cake on her b-day.

So like I said we are taking a trip to see our families. We are going to fly out to Reno and see my side for a few days, I also get to see my best friend Heather. I haven't got to see her for almost 3 years, since then she has married and is pregnant. I am very excited to see her again. After that we area going to go to Oregon and spend a week with Gabes side. It should be a good trip and nice to get away and hopefully see some snow. I haven't got to see or play in snow since before we got married and I miss it. When we get home Gabe will be starting his schooling that he has for two months before we move. Anyway, that is whats been going on around here.

We had a really good Christmas this year. Adeleah made it all a lot more fun and exciting for us. She is loving all her gifts. Gabe and I both got some really good ones. But anyway, since then we have just been getting paper work and other things done that we need to by the end of the month for our move to Hawaii. It has all been a little crazy with getting it done and finding more things out. Like that it can take up to 60-75 days to get our things over to Hawaii and that while we wait on a list for housing we will be living in a hotel. Oh how I look forward to that with a 15 month old child. Anyway hope you are all having a great start to the new year.

The dinner was great and we had a great time. Adeleah got to met Santa. This was the 2nd time Gabe took her up to see if she would be any better. At least she wasn't crying.
This was the first time when Gabe and I took her up. Part of it was that she wanted me when daddy had her and then she went to Santa and not mama. Is it bad that I found this very funny.

We went to Disney World last week and had a great time. One of Gabes sisters and her family come with us from Oregon. It was great to spend sometime with them and the boys seemed to have fun with Adeleah, just not when she cried.

Adeleah, Christmas, and whatever else I remember...

Adeleah is doing great and a great joy to us. She is growing up way to fast. She can get anywhere in the house she wants to and with great speed. The doors to all the rooms and bathrooms have to stay closed now. She has been able to pull her self up now for about a month, which means she can get into even more things. In the last week she has started letting go of things and just standing. Before we know it she is going to waking. I don't know if we are ready for that. Adeleah now has 7 teeth and we believe more on the way. She thinks that whatever you are eating she should get too. Adeleah loves food, just not peas. Its the one thing I can't get her to eat. Besides that she is doing great and we are enjoying most everything about her:)

The day after we put the Christmas tree up, she doesn't get into it as much as I thought she would but still enough. She is getting better about it as time goes by. I can't wait for Christmas with Adeleah, it may take us a long time to open things this year but I am very excited for our first as a family.
So for Thanksgiving we spent it with friends of ours from church and their big crazy family. It was really nice and fun to see how others do Thanksgiving. That night I started to put up Christmas. I love Christmas it is the best time of the year. The day after we went and got our tree, I had to get a big one, thanks Gabe for letting me drive you crazy with picking one out. So the house has been done since the first of Dec and as of yesterday everyone that we needed to get gifts for are done. I only need to get two more things for Gabe and we have to get a few more things for Adeleahs stocking. Oh and on the 3rd we had Gabes work Christmas party, they have door drawing and Gabe won a 19" TV. But we didn't really need one that small, so we took it back and got the money. With the money we got a really nice used keyboard. We have been wanting to get one because it is easier to move around with us being in the navy. I have a piano at my parents but we can't move it all over and so until we can have it, we have the keyboard. Besides all that we have just been enjoying the season and being together as a family. Oh and we have a orders to Hawaii on paper now, we can leave here on June 3rd and must be there by June 14th. We are both very excited for the move.

Veterans Day

With what happen at Fort Hood last week and Veterans Day tomorrow I have had a lot on my mind in the last few days. I would first like to say that my heart is with the families of those who lost loved ones in Fort Hood and in the last year in the war. I am thankful for all who serve in our military, for keeping this nation free. I am very thankful to my husband who works very hard every day, thankful for the husband and father that he is. I love him very much. As a wife to some one in the military I often worry about him when he is gone with the navy to different parts of the world. And I am always so thankful when he comes home and I don't have to worry as much because I can see and feel every day and know that he is ok. You never think that you have to worry about your husband going to work and getting killed. We all know that anything can happen and when it is time for someone to return to our Heavenly Father there is nothing we can do. But when you are a military family or wife you look forward to the time when your loved one is home and safe, looking to the time when you don't have to worry so much. Just know that it is not always easy being a military family and a member of the military. People ask me, how I do it, how I can live without my husband for months at a time? The answer is easy because its what I have to do.

If I can ask everyone one thing: tomorrow thank some one who has or is serving in the military. Don't think about weather you think we should be in this war or if you like the president or anything else. Just thank them for the service they do every day as the men and women of our military.
Thank You to all who serve and to the families for your sacrifice.

Halloween/Nevada Day

This was the little girl that I made the dress for, she looked really cute. This picture is not very good and it was at the end of the night so she already had candy all over it:)

This was and is the only candy she will get for Halloween, she loved it.

We went to our wards trunk or treat tonight for Halloween. It was fun and Adeleah was so cute as a black cat. I went as a witch and she was my cat. I was glad she didn't cry when we were there at me because when I was all dressed up at home she didn't like it very much.

But what really made the night was that we were able to go to a friends house and watch the Oregon Duck game. This made my husbands night and day, plus to top it off they killed USC (47-20). And for someone that doesn't care about sports it was a good game. GO DUCKS!!!

Update on Adeleah: she now can crawl! It's not full on crawling but she can get to anything she wants and anywhere she wants (video to come soon). And she just cut her 2nd top tooth, she now has 4 teeth. Other then that she is doing great and we just love her more and more everyday.

A friend of mine asked me to make this dress for her little girl for Halloween. She is going to be Giselle from the movie Enchanted. I think I did ok on it seeing how I had only a picture to go from. I will have to get a picture of her when she is all done up on Halloween.

These I did as a gift for some friends, hopefully they won't see this before we send them.

Oh and my older sister Jodie got sealed in the Reno Temple on sat to a very nice man. I was not able to be there but I am very happy for them. When I finally get to see pictures I will post a few.

Other than that not much has happened other then our orders getting changed, but we are excited about that. Hawaii is going to be great and we are looking forward to it. I only wish it wasn't so long til we go.

So we are no longer moving to Japan. To my understanding they no longer need to fill the orders we had. Thursday Gabe had to go in and get us new orders, we are now going to Hawaii. As of right now that is, anything could happen, but we will move in June of 2010. This makes me happy and it is a lot better in a lot of ways. One thing that really makes me is that the housing will be much better then in Japan and I guess two things, the temple will be like 30 mins away. In Japan we were going to have to make a trip to be able to get to a temple. So I am happy about this change in the plans:)

Christmas on the mind

I seem to have Christmas on my mind a lot already for it only just being Oct. But I think it is because I want to get everything I need done like shopping and whatever else before Dec even comes around. I just want to be able to enjoy all of the time with my little family and I have the feeling that when our orders for Okinawa finally do come in my life is going to become crazy.

So last night I made most of Adeleahs Christmas stocking and then finished it this morning. I am very happy with the way it come out. I embroidered her name on the top and that is why I didn't get it done last night, plus Adeleah was waking up about every hour until midnight.
This afternoon when Gabe was getting ready to go into work for watch, Adeleah was playing with daddy's cover. It was just so cute and so I wanted to get a few pics of it, I must say she looked cuter when I wasn't taking pictures of her.

Oh and Gabe was playing with her the other night before he gave her a bath and took this picture. Just thought it was really funny and that my mom would like it. And Adeleah cute a top tooth on the 3rd, she now has three teeth.

After church we were playing with Adeleah on the floor with these cloth blocks that someone made for her and it was so funny I thought I would share it. In other news Adeleah now says dada all the time. She has been able to say it for about a week now, Gabe loves it. She is also cutting a top tooth. She will be 7 months on Thursday, I can't believe it. I was just watching some other videos we have of her and it makes me see how much she has grown and changed. I miss my newborn but at the same time I love my baby girl now so much. She is so much fun and I feel very blessed to be her mommy.

So I had my birthday on sat. It was good, Gabe took us to see a movie and out to dinner; he also got me a few gifts. All and all I had a very nice b-day. But anyway enough about that I don't really like to write about myself on here so. Adeleah is doing great, she is really wanting to crawl. She can now get on here hands and knees and today she was trying to actually move one forward. I can't believe she is about to start crawling, plus that means I need to work on my house and more things around. But it will be nice that she can come to me when she wants to and not just cry at me. She loves to eat and the only thing I have found that she just won't eat is peas. Oh and when we went out to dinner for my b-day she sat in a high chair the whole time and did really good just playing with a few toys. Now if only she will sleep through the night:)

6 1/2 Months

She kept taking grandma and grandpas hats when we were with them that grandma got her one of her own to play with. She loves it and leaves it on until you take it off.

I can't believe my baby is 6 months old! She is great and we love her so much. I can't say I love the crying when I leave a room or biting. No she really is wonderful. She is now 25 in and 14 lbs 14.9 ozs. We are still breastfeeding and eats dinner and fruit in the mornings. She is still seeing what she likes and doesn't but most of everything she likes. She really likes ice cream, she got to try that when we were at fair. And yes I know I shouldn't give her it but she loved it and it didn't hurt her at all. She can sit on her own but ends up on her tummy after a few mins. Can't sit up yet but that is fine because she would just be back on her tummy anyway. She is able to get up on her hands and toes and do what I call baby push ups. I think she will be crawling in the next month or two, she wants to you can see it. And she loves bath time, the water is a lot of fun. Anyway, she is doing great and we love her so very much and are very thankful to have her as our darling baby girl.

Sorry it took me a week to get this done.

It was really nice to go home for a few weeks and to be able to go to the state fair. Fair was fun and a lot of work but I was able to see a lot of family. I was even able to get anyway one day to go down to Gabes parents for the night and visit with all of that side of the family. It was great to see everyone and I am going to miss all my family on both sides a lot when we are in japan. Anyway, we did really good this year with the draft horses. I love showing them and am thankful to have been able to take Adeleah to her first horse show. After fair we went back to my parents for a few days. Then on Thursday we had to fly home. Which I was ready to be home with Gabe, I missed him so much. But it was really hard to say bye to my parents because I don't know when I will see them again with the move to Japan. Well I would love to say the flight home was great, but that would be a lie. When we got to the airport that morning they said the flight was an hour late, not a problem, we were going to be sitting in Dallas for a few hours as it was. Well when we got on the plan we sat there for a long time and then they finally tell us that they need 5 people to wait for a different flight. Then we start to get going or so we all thought, no they tell us we have to go back to the gate and have 5 more people leave. It was all because of some bad weather in Dallas and we have to have more gas to get there and weight and everything. Well we finally do get in the air and flying to Dallas after sitting on the plan for 2 1/2 hours, it was only the time we were to be landing in the first place. And if that wasn't enough, we get over Texas and they tell us we can't land in Dallas because they have closed the airport because of the weather and so we will be landing in Abilene, Texas. We ended up staying the night there and flying out in the morning to Dallas and then finally flying into jax at about 3pm Friday. Thankfully the airline put us all up in a really nice hotel for the night and I was lucky to have really nice people help me out and give me some one to visit with during all of this. I am very thankful to them. So yeah I don't really want to get on another plan for sometime now. Anyways besides the flight home I had a wonderful time with family and friends. I will miss them all very much in Japan.

Adeleah and I leave tomorrow morning for 16 days with my family. During that time we will be at the Oregon State Fair for 11 days and there I will get to see a lot of my family and Gabes. It will be nice to see everyone before we move to Okinawa. Well Adeleah and I are about to go pick up Gabe from the base and get to be with him for the night. I hate how he was gone for a week and now we will be gone for two. I wish he could come with us:( Anyway, hope you all have a good two weeks and that everyone starting school with have a good time. Talk/see you all in two weeks.

1st- I got my hair cut just over a week ago. I love it. I really needed a change. The only thing I wish is that someone could come do my hair everyday for me. But it really hasn't been that bad because Adeleah likes to sit in the bathroom and play with everything she can get her hands on. So it lets me do my hair, and lets her eat everything. (not a great picture it is off my phone)
I just really liked this picture and thought the grandmas would like it too:)

2nd- My baby is growing too much, I can't believe she is going to be 6 months in a few weeks. Before I know it she is going to be one. It is hard to think that she is eating real food and playing with toys and just everything. Oh and she has two little teeth on the bottom. I found the first one and then about a week later/few days ago the other one cut through. (Picture)The other day I put her in it and she would just sit up on her own and play with the top of it/not the toys, what holds the toys. But I wouldn't change anything about Adeleah, I love her so much and she is just a joy to have.

3rd/last-Happy Birthday to Gabe. Sunday was Gabes 28th birthday. Gabe thinks he is old, which he isn't. But it is crazy to think that in two years he will be 30. I love my old husband:) We had a nice day just being together here at the house. He had to get ready to leave with the navy to the Bahamas, so we didn't do much. For his birthday I got him wii sports resort and a game for his psp. Wii resort is a lot of fun and Gabe played it more then he needed to and it put us up late packing. Anyway, Gabe left yesterday for a week to the Bahamas. Its not as fun as it sounds, they work a lot and unless you drink there really isn't much to do. Hopefully he will be back before Adeleah and I leave next week or it will be three weeks before we see each other again. This is the 2nd time since having Adeleah that Gabe has left, for the navy thats pretty good. Thankfully so far it has been pretty good with Gabe gone, Adeleah makes it easier then when it was just me alone. So we'll see how the rest of the week goes:) And hopefully I will hear from Gabe soon. I always hate it when hes gone, but love it when he gets home.

Oregon State Fair

Adeleah all ready for the fair.

Since my little family is going to move half way around the world we thought it would be good if Adeleah and I went home one more time. This way our families get to see her one more time before the move. And for those who know me and my family, you know how state fair is a thing that my family does ever year. All growing up I would miss the first week of school to go to the Oregon State Fair and show our draft horses. It is something that my great grandparents started a very long time ago. Anyway, Adeleah and I are going to fly out to NV and then drive up to Oregon with my parents for the fair. Plus this way Gabes family can come see us too. The very sad thing is that Gabe won't be able to come with us because of work and he is going to be gone the week before we leave. And we will only get one day together before I leave and that is if he gets back by then:( I am excited to be going to fair though, I get to see a lot of family and with moving it is just nice to be able to do.

Well about the move to Japan, we heard yesterday that we should be here til after the new year. Gabe will be with HS-11 till dec and then have sometime off before he starts schooling and then after that we will make the big move. Hopefully we should get the actual orders here in 2 to 3 weeks (that what we were told). And then that should tell us all the dates and everything we need to know about moving and getting things ready in Japan also. Gabe and I both have mixed feelings about this move. We are not excited about the housing over there, it is small, like a two bedroom is between 850 and 900 sq feet. Plus it is just going to be very different from what we are used to. Although we did pray about it and this is what we felt was right for us at this time and so we just have to remember that the Lord will be with us. And one nice thing is that we will get to travel all over and get to see a lot of that part of the world. Oh and I am going to kill myself over there, they drive on the left side!
My mom got all of the grand kids a pair of these. My great grandpa wear overalls everyday and so my great grandma got a pair for all her great grand kids and my mom wanted to carry it on.

5 Months Old!!!

This is a cute little outfit we/gabe had to get her yesterday. And I know I didn't need to put all three pictures of her in the same dress but I just liked them all:)

I can't believe she is 5 months already! She is the joy of our lives and we don't know what we would do without her. And she is growing up way to fast for the both of us. Gabe keeps telling her to stop it, but she just won't listen to daddy. Adeleah loves her toys and loves to play with us. She loves it when we play with her toy cow and make moo sounds, I want to get a video of it. She is starting to eat rice now and seems to like it. I had to start her on some food because she was driving us both crazy when ever we had food. She was always trying to help us eat:) The one thing I don't care for right now is that she will start to cry when ever we leave the room and she seems to want us right by her to play. So I will be happy when that is over. Adeleah is now in her own room and has been for about two weeks. She is doing fine other then the fact that she wakes between 6:30 and 7:30 ever morning. Which is fine because I get more done when I get up earlier in the morning. But it would be nice to sleep in with Gabe on the weekends. But I know that my sleeping in was going to come to an end at some point, its part of having children. Oh and she loves to talk very loud, which she is doing right now:) It is very much bedtime for her!
Well other then that she is just a joy to have and we love her very much.

As a side note: We do not know when we will be transferred, all we know right now is where (Okinawa, Japan). We hope to find out more this week about dates and everything. Right now I am just happy about finally getting orders but as for the rest of all this, I just don't know what to think. I mean in a year from now we will be living half way around the world and in a place were we don't know how to even talk to the people. But we have prayed about it and so I will be putting a lot of faith into this whole thing. And the main thing is that we will still be together as a family.

For those who don't know orders are for the navy. Anyway we got orders to Okinawa, Japan. We will be there for 3 years. Other then that we don't know anything else but we hope to find things out soon. We really want to get back over to the west but because of money they won't let us transfer to the west coast. And so we are taking orders overseas so that after that we can get orders to where ever we want to go. Will post more when we know more.

4 Months

Adeleah turned 4 months on the 1st and had her check up today.The doctor said she is doing great! Which makes me feel great:) She is 24in and 12lbs 10.8ozs. I must say that I am really loving her right now, she is a lot of fun to play with and she just loves to talk with me. I don't like how she always wants me to hold her but she will only be a baby once so its ok. She has learned to roll from front to back and she can play with her toys/eat her toys. Besides that she is just a joy to have and I am so thankful to have her as my baby girl.

Adeleahs first 4th of July. For the 4th we spent most of the day here at home because Gabe had watch Friday night and so he didn't get home till almost 8 am and then had to sleep. But that was fine I had some things I needed to get done. Anyway, for fireworks we went to the beach and watched them over the ocean. It was really nice and Gabe even got a little swim in (although it was in the dark). Adeleah liked the fireworks and watched them all, she was really good all night, well until we headed home.

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th and were able to spend a great time with family. And I would like to say thank you so much to my husband and all others who are in the military and work so hard to keep our great country free. Thank You!

Ok, we actually have been home for almost a week but I have been trying to get back into everything and haven't been feeling the best. I am so happy to be home, just wish it wasn't Florida we had to come home to:) As for our trip it was good. I can't say it was wonderful because I believe that we were in the car everyday of the trip. But it was really nice to see all of our families and meet new ones. The weddings went great, both looked just great. The first wedding (Gabes little sister) was at the Portland temple and in the church building. The church was done up very nice and besides the cake getting there 10mins after the reception started it was great. And I am sorry I don't have but three pictures from that one and they are off my phone because I forgot it at the house. The 2nd wedding (one of Gabes older sisters) was in the back yard of his parents house. It also went very well and was very nice with no rain. We were all worried that it was going to rain all week but thankfully the sun come out a few hours before and it was wonderful, a little cold but wonderful. I did get pictures of that one, seeing how I couldn't forget it when it was at the house. After the weddings we went to see my brother who lives a few hours away in OR. We stayed the night with him and got to see a lot of my side of the family. Next we took the 9 hour drive to my parents in NV. There my dad and the rest of my family got to met Adeleah for the first time. I got to met Lydias baby Ira and my older sister Jodies fiance and his two kids. The only one of my family I didn't get to see was my brother Mike who is in ND. (He just got a job there and hopefully soon his wife and son will get to be with him. Anyway, after that we went back to Gabes parents and we all flew out to CO and then got in the car and drove to SD for the family reunion in Custer State Park. The reunion was fun and it was nice to met some of Gabes dads side of the family. The state Park was really nice and we saw wildlife everyday. One day we took a 6 mile hike, that you had to cross the stream about 17 times. We also saw Mt. Rushmore and more buffalo then I ever thought I would see in my life time. And I would like to say a big thank you to those who put on the reunion, it was great. Well finally we made it back down to CO for the last night of our trip, we stayed in a really nice hotel with Gabes brother and sister in law. That night I took Adeleah swimming for the first time. I don't think she knows what to think in a pool, but it was fun to take her. Anyway after 25 days of being gone we flew home and let me just say it is nice to be in my own bed again.

Update on Adeleah, she is doing great, growing, and just wonderful.

It has rained here a lot and so we have standing water in the back yard and I guess this little guy wanted a little swim. Gabe found him swimming in the water. I think he or she looks a little mean to me.

My little sister had her wonderful little baby boy yesterday. She had to have a c-section because when they went in for her check-up they found that he was then breech and on his cord. So she stayed and they set a time to do the c-section. All is well with mother and baby. And I am so happy for my little sister and her husband. This is their 2nd little boy.

It has been raining here for the last 2 1/2 days and so I thought it would be a good time to post pictures and do a little update.

These first two are from today. Adeleah in her chair, she likes to sit up so that she can see what is going on.

This was sunday after church, I love this little dress from OshKosh B'gosh and her little shoes. I finally remembered to put the shoes on her, a few weeks ago they were still to big and now they won't fit for long.

This was also sunday, I was feeding her after church and this is how she went to sleep on me.

These three were from me playing around. I have some roses in my back yard and this one was just so pretty I wanted to try and take some with it and Adeleah. The rose was about the size of her head. This one I just love because it is just so much drama.

She was happy for some of the pictures. And if you are wanting to know, yes, I am doing cloth diapers.

These last two are just ones from sundays of Adeleah in different dresses. I love her ducky one, (my mom and Gabe just had to have it for her when we went to the outlet mall).

As for us not much has been going on here. Last week Gabe had to be gone for a few days with the navy, which left me with Adeleah. I think it went well, it is just really nice when Gabe comes home and helps out.

We went and saw the new X-men movie, it was really good. Adeleah could careless about the movie, didn't cry because of the it but she did cry because she wanted to stand or eat the whole time.

Next week we are leaving for a very long trip to see family. We are going out to Oregon for two weddings (both sisters of Gabe) that are a week apart on Saturdays. Then we are going to go see some of my family that is a few a hours away in Oregon, just over night. Then we are driving down the 9 hours to my parents house for a week, my dad will finally get to met Adeleah. After that we are flying out to South Dakota with Gabes family for a family reunion. And then finally about 3 1/2 weeks after we left home, we will fly home. It is going to be a very long trip full of family and hopefully lots of fun. And hopefully a somewhat happy Adeleah through it all.

But anyway that is about all that is going on with us.
